Meet Alek Osinski

Actor / Writer

Alek is a Meisner trained actor who never grew out of playing make believe. He enjoyed acting and singing throughout his youth, and was a professional cook, Army artilleryman, and medical professional in his early adulthood.. After a bit too much time in the “real world,” he returned to his love of acting and stumbled into The Actor’s Workshop of Ithaca (AWI), Central New York’s premiere Meisner Technique Training Studio, and studied with Eliza VanCort. He currently studies with Janine Ditullio at Kimball Studios.

Since graduating from AWI, Alek has been acting throughout Central New York and serving in leadership positions at AWI. He co-found a theatre and film production company - The House of Ithaqua - and has been seen nationally as the lead in the PBS film “No Fare”. Alek is particularly proud of his work in the feature film Stationed at Home, which is currently in post-production, and will allow him to become a member of SAG-AFTRA.
